  1. Take care of you and yours.

From the son of a family that lived at 77 Russell Road near Seven Sisters and now living in Nara, Japan.

  2. if you will ever update this ressource please check Big Ben 22 which was not a direct hit but an airburst.

It did not hit where the pointer has been placed. There is a 2 hours long documentary about this particular V2 and the pictures which had been released in 2015 or so for the public and are fully explained to the tiniest details which german factory made which part and even where and how by whom it had been launced, an animation of the rocket climbing into the sky of the netherlands and then turning to London, East Ham .

Here is the video and the full explanation where it had been exploded and hit the streets and houses.

  3. Wishing you the very best. Thank for creating such a wonderful resource.

  4. I think ‘Kew Failed’ may mean the explosion failed to register on the seismograph at the Kew Observatory. Regards Barry.

  5. I’m dismayed to read that serious illness in 2023 affected the author of this important resource. Please convey my gratitude along with best healing wishes, if appropriate. This site gives greater meaning to those like me who are descendants of WWII Veterans of – among others- the 1st Infantry Division who moved into the Harz Mtns area of Germany to stop V2 production at Mittelwerk and related communication and transportation operations, along with freeing the forced labor POWs. This site personalizes the impact of V2 explosions in England with individual stories, and further validates the need for and sacrifices made by troops to do this. Many thanks.
