Her death is recorded as being on 1 December 1944 at Middlesex County Hospital, Edmonton. Registration Date of record: 2 December 1944. Dated: 5 December 1944. Death Number and Series of Certificate: 175522 -27, Entry Number: 145. Document is headlined: Tottenham And Wood Green Burial Board – Enfield Crematorium.
She was the first wife of my father, Thomas Ernest Richard HOWLETT. They were married on 21 May 1944 in Church of Broughton Place,Edinburgh,Scotland. Her address at time of marriage was: 1 Caversham Road, Kentish Town, London. My father’s address at time of marriage was: 59 York Place, Edinburgh. Document is headlined: Certificate of Proclamation of Banns.
I have been led to believe that her death was the result of war time attack.

Hi, my great great grandfather Joseph John Cook died at St Olaves Hospital on 20th January 1945 “due to war operations” he lived on Trundleys Road, Southwark. Is there any way of knowing exactly where he was killed? Obviously it’s possible he was injured a number of days before his death before succumbing to his injuries I’m just trying to narrow down the possibilities
